Junior rides are a type of ride in RollerCoaster Tycoon World and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. Unlike family rides, which mainly consist of attractions such as animal shows, performances, aquariums, all junior rides are actual rides. However, they are tamer than thrill rides, having much lower intensity and nausea ratings. In RCT1, the junior rides and family rides are combined with the name "gentle rides." In RCT2, junior rides themselves are known as gentle rides, and the rides that would be gentle rides in RCT3 are instead called attractions.
