I am a Wiki Guardian of this wiki. I also edit the Minecraft Wiki on Gamepedia as an administrator, as well as Wikipedia and the Lost Minecraft Miners Wiki, the latter on which I'm an administrator.

I recently created a bot for this wiki named User:Madbot121. If you have a repetitive task that needs to be done on this wiki, I'd (he'd) be happy to do it.

Personal wiki experience In June 2015, I created an account on Wikipedia and made very bold edits (many of which got reverted), and was a complete noob at wikis - didn't know any wiki-text, didn't know how wikis worked, in fact, I didn't even realize there was a such thing as an WP:Edit summary. After a few months, I kind of just abandoned that account, forgot my password, and didn't really get involved with wikis for years after that. In September 2017, I started editing the Minecraft Wiki as an IP; once again, not knowing much, so making lots of edits that got reverted. I created an account in November 2017, and gradually started to learn more about wikis and wiki-text. I made my first edit to the RCTW Wiki in December 2017. In January 2018, I got a new account on the main Wikipedia and started editing, while still editing the Minecraft Wiki. Not until early February 2018 I actually really understood how templates and documentation worked, and after this, I decided to try to learn a lot about more complicated wiki text: {{#if}}, {{#ifeq}}, parameters, and all that stuff. I requested to become a Wiki Guardian of this wiki on February 20, 2018, and my request was accepted later that day. Right now, I continue to edit both Gamepedia wikis (Minecraft and RCTW), as well as Wikipedia. I also sometimes edit the Lost Minecraft Miners Wiki.

This wiki needs contributors Do you know about RollerCoaster Tycoon World? Are you familiar with wikis? Either way, it would be great for you to contribute to this wiki. This wiki is currently kind of abandoned, as there are only 3 users that have made edits in the last few months, including me, with the other two being Gamepedia staff. If you need help with anything or have any questions, please contact me in any way and I'll be happy to help. We especially need people who are very familiar with the game, as I do not actually have RollerCoaster Tycoon World on my computer, although I do have RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.

What I do on this wiki To be honest, a lot more template creating and MediaWiki namespace editing then I should, and less improving, expanding, and creating actual articles than I should. But yeah, the technical end is really what I enjoy on the RollerCoaster Tycoon World Wiki. In the template namespace, I've created many pages and made major edits to several others. I like to try to improve the skin of the wiki by editing MediaWiki:Hydradark.css - I created File:Sidebar background.png, and uploaded a different version of File:Background.jpg. I'm also trying to find all the places that the wiki skin links to the non-existent RCTWW:Policy page and remove the links - I wish that weren't the default for wikis (if anybody knows a quick way to find all of these please let me know). Don't get me wrong - there have been many articles that I have completely rewritten, greatly expanded, and/or created, but I do tend to be doing template and MediaWiki stuff when it would probably be better for readers if I worked on the actual articles. I am currently much less active than I used to be, due to more of my free time going into doing stuff the Minecraft Wiki, so I only sparsely edit at the current point in time.
